PEP Steering Dampener for a 250R?

Anyone have one? I want a PEP to match my PEP shocks.... :)

Not trying to knock PEP, but their dampers only have 3 adjustments. IF you can afford it I would recommend a 7 way adjuster thats rebuildable. It gives you much more adjustability, so you can fine tune it for any application. Where as the PEP only has hard,medium and soft.

I forgot to add that any dampener is better than no dampener at all!

Yeah, I know, and I am used to a 24 position Ohlins. I am just obsessive compulsive, and want to match the shock setup...

Can you elaborate on which is hard, med, or soft. I have a PEP stabilizer. So is the adjustment closest to the steering stem hardest, or vis versa?

Try each setting. See wich is the hardest.Go from there.

The closest hole to the steering stem provides the least dampening. The hole farthest from the stem gives the most dampening.

go to an auto parts store and get a VW super bettle stabilizer....its basicly what PEP and other companies befor them used.

you just need to change the end on the shaft with one thast can be bought from places like MSC.

I have one sitting ina box in my garage its black with a pep sticker on it,It came with my bike so I dont know if its worn out or not. Might need a little bit of rebuilding. Make an offer?

Thanks! i hear ya bro. it is still on my quad and my quad is kinda packed away and i'm getting ready for a snowmobile trip tonight. i won't be back til tomorrow late.Friday i will take some picks of it installed and out of the quad if thats alright...
