Been awhile

Well after enrolling in school I havent had much time with the quad in 4 months so finally I slapped these boys on today, I got douglas lugnuts on the way so the stock ones are just on there for the time being.

And I have to mention my wife for buying me a quad jack for my christmas present. I plan on buying Douglas Ultimate Conventional Beadlocks some time when I get enough funds, thought about the shamrock rears but having 60 bucks in lugnuts aint worth it at this moment.

According to the pics in magazines I've seen there alot bigger and they have more of a taper to the nut, the stock ones suck into the rim about half way and would eventually ruin the rims and I didnt want that so I went and bought the douglas ones.

Did you powdercoat the front hubs blue or paint them? Goes very well with the shamrocks.

I wish I would have got the other lugs when I got my quadroks. Getting the extra out of hte stock ones is a pain. you really have to watch so you do not strip them off when torquing them down.

If I had more time i'd paint the frame but school is in the way for now. But I guess I gotta spend money to make money.

I may have to invest in some of those lugs this summer. They would be much better to use the impact on and torque down. Thanks for the pics. Steve

All the nuts are is tapered 60 degree nuts, you can buy them at Rocky for like 20 bucks or so.

What offset are your rims, and how far past the edge of the rim do the lugnuts extend?

The rims are 4+1, as for the lug nuts sticking out they dont really the pics are really decieving

I would like to get the same rims but I cant justify the price right now and the Ultimate Conventionals aint that bad and are $50 less per rim.

Takes along time to develop $350 bucks worth of change and trying to sell stock parts, so far im up to $295 bucks but I got another $75 to go.

Love those wheels man. Its gonna look nasty when you get some beads on the rear. You thought about making the rings yellow or blue?

Thanks, I'm thinking yellow for the rings, the rears will have blue mudpugs so it should look interesting. I'm still trying to figure out what color PC would match my paint when the time comes to PC the frame, I think a trans blue would look ok but idk?
