i see some of the aftermarket levers are 1" shorter than stock alot of times; anyone ever cut there stock ones down? i only use my index and middle fingers on both sides anyways. i imagine it would be easy to do being aluminum; i used to file my aluminum paintball triggers all the time.

i do know the ball on the end of the lever does serve some purpose like keeping fingers from slipping off, if hand gets smashed between it and somthing hard its less likely to go thrugh it and a few others i forgot....thought i should say that;)

Actually guys that ball on the end is made so that it can't go through your ribs in case of a accident.

the ball keeps it from going into you..

The 450R master cylinder has a shorty brake lever already on it. Much nicer than the EX brake lever.
