for the 400ex it is not the best performing exhaust out there. that honor goes to hmf or curtis sparks imo. WB is loud and hollow sounding. i really dislike the way it sounds. i have a yosh and it sounds beautiful on the 400 ex. the hmf is similar to the yosh but it is raspier sounding.
here is a clip of mine

i love my wb's pipe. it is pretty sick. i sometimes do wish for a better sounding pipe that gets that nasty 450 sound out of it. but the only way to get that is get a 450 and i'm not gonna do that. so i'd just say keep it man!!!! save your $$$$$$. and buy a thumb throttle and take that twist off of it!!! you'll murder yourself with that on there unless you've riden twist throttles before.

Less disks = less sound, more low end. More disks = more sound more mid range and top end.

i ran into the same problem with my aluminum pro from wb. they got bought out by vance n hines. i had to replace something on it and ended up having to make stuff for it to get it back together. i didnt like it all that much. its going to be hard to get anything for it because they were bought out. u cant beat sparks or hmf. sell it. lol

i had that pipe and hated it. but it was on a dirtbike and always melted the fender. i love the whitebros r4 pipe. if you think that the e-series is loud hear this one. i'm trying to find one for my 400.
