which side of gasket?

Im gettin ready to put a gasket on my right cranckcase cover... does it matter which side of the gasket faces which way?

I would say it will only go on one way since it only going ot fit one way. Whatever way it is that faces the front of the fouwheeler is the way it goes on. You can't put it on backwards. I hope this helps steve
