anyone use the k&n power lid?

My fabric air box lid is all torn. Has anybody used the k&n lid?

I'm trying to start this from sitting for a long time. I think the carb is all gummed up. in the process, i tore the cover and need a new one.

I would like to get some info on it too. If they are pretty water resistant it may not be bad. I would not be submerging it or anything but alittle extra protection is nice when you hit a puddle. I run open now and get tired of swerving to miss every one so I do not have to worry about killing it on a trail. Steve
