I'm having trouble figuring out how to adjust the chain, The Manual say's to loosen and slide the upper tensioner wheel down toward the chain, it has no adjustment left, nor does it look like the on in the manual picture. Could this be accomplished by replacing the mounting spacers or is that over the top rediculous, I would think it is, there has to be a better solution ???

Dude there looks to be a ton of slack in that chain. It might be fully adjusted. I would take the adjustment way back out, remove a link from the chain, and then start the process over again.

Or if it's that stretched out, you would probably be better off buying a new chain.

I bet the motor has slid back causing the slack.

If everything already mentioned doesn't work, you might be able to locate a larger diameter roller and put it on there. Just a thought.

Ok, thanks. I think I'll try the roller. I don't see how the motor shifted by looking at the 8 mounts (4 on the motor and 4 on the rear) but it makes the most sence. The dam thing has been sitting in my garage for a month since I drove it last and the chain diden't slip before, just the gears did because the linkage was not right.

Also wondering if anyone has one of these...

do you think you can get a link out? Probably do the roller thing as a last resort.

Yeah I'll try that, I took it for a ride to move my empty boat trailer and its still slipping in the transmission. Now I need gears.
Is there a battle ship around that would let me load this @#%& thing and fire it at china.
Where would I start in getting gears???
