trx450r shocks mount up like ltz450's?

do you mount the trx450 shocks backwards (facing forward)like the ltr450 on a z400? I did a search and dident find much so I thought i would ask.

Im not for sure since you wanna add trx450's to a LTR, but both have the ressies that tuck into the side of the bike compared to a Z that stick out. If your adding them to a LTZ,then they would be on the side of the quad.

Yes. I had the rez facing backwards - almost up against the plastic radiator shroud.

I had the LTR450 shock on my z400 before I sold it. I had them tucked on the side,but I didn't have the radiator shield either. I have seen them mounted where they(rezzies) face out towards the front of the bike.
