first gen plastic to second gen plastic

I like the looks of the first gens better but im going to be replacing the plastic on my 02. Discount honda places sell the plastic for like $109 a fender. But i want black so i might get second gen plastic. Besides the headlight is there anything expensive in the swap? Like the gas tank would it have to be changed?

If you order all the stuff from a online discount place how much would it run for EVERYTHING needed?

I have an 02 and i swapped to 05 front fenders and it was a perfect fit to the 02 tank and to my 02 fenders youll have to buy some head lights

05? you mean 06? 05 is first gen aint it?

05? you mean 06? 05 is first gen aint it? no 99-04 is 1st gen,05-07 2nd gen, and 08-09 3rd gen, but ya it will bolt right up, there's just 2 small holes you have to drill on the front cross member, there's also a couple of support brackets you have to get for the front plastic, go to a site called mcmart.com, or anyparts blow up site, it will show you what you need.
