weld it in there. haha. you could go to some trusted bearing place and try to get a bearing with the same inside diameter but with a bigger outside diameter. you may have to sand down the hole a bit more for the bearing to fit. but if you get it so it will fit it a great fix. try getting a new bearing and puttin it in there just a stock bearing. the old ones can shrink and a new one will fit tighter. is this a left or a right case?

that one has a holder to keep it in place. just get a new bearing and bend the little tabs that hold the bearing in a little so it pushes harder on the bearing.

are the tabs on the outside or inside of the case meaning like inside the cases ewhere I split it?

outside. so you dont even have to tear it down to replace that bearing. you just take 3 bolts off and a plate will come off and then you pull the bearing out.

you can also try a bearing retaining compound from loctite or a similar company. that stuff works wonders, we use it all the time on big diesel engines and it holds fine. check it out, its like 12 dollars a bottle and has saved me many times. Corey

That bearing is still a tolerance fit bearing. The plate is just a safety mechanism in case it comes loose in the case. Your best bet is to get the loctite compound and check it frequently. It would be a good idea before you do that though to check the gap between the aluminum and the bearing race and make sure the compound will even work. If the gap is large you run the risk of wallowing the hole even larger and your mainshaft wiggling and causing premature wear in other (expensive) components in the engine. You should use a micrometer here.
