left side crank case cover will not come off lol

alright well i havent been able to ride lately and i think i may have messed up my sparks key installation but i can not get the cover to come off again on the left side of the crankcase..
the seal is cracked. all bolts removed all starter pieces are removed anyone had a struggle like this?
i honestly tryed for over an hr and the thing just wont slide off.
any special tricks here lol?

push it back on and hit it with a hammer a couple of times and see if that will losen it up if not. an old trusty wounder bar will do the trick just pri along the edge untill it starts to come off....

lol alright man ill try it again. ive just never had this prob before, just kinda shocked me when it wouldnt come off.

ya it happend to me 2 times and it pissed me off and the first time i just hit it and the 2nd time i used the wounder bar
