I just bought a used 06 ltr and I am going to replace the piston. How high of compression can I go and still run pump gas? Staying with stock bore. I have searched but not found a direct answer. Would appreciate any help. Thanks

je pistons makes a high compression that runs on pump gas. its either a 12.5to1 or a 12.8to 1. other than that it is all pump gas. check it out

Get the ATP 12.5 piston. Custom made by JE. It uses stock Suzuki rings. You will still have 2 compression rings. Aftermarket pistons usually have only one. It is a little expensive but worth it.
