Rear shock question - YFZ on a 400ex?

Will a YFZ rear shock work on a 400ex with no or limited mods?

I don't know if this will help, but the Z400 shock and the 400ex rear shock are almost exactly the same. So I would say that it more than likely will work. I think the Z450 shock will fit on a Z400.
