Anyone know of a good remedy to fix the front left part of the rear fender that notoriously pops out? I know Lone Star has a fix for it but it looks like automotive clips that I can't seem to track down locally. The LSR kit is only $10 but with shipping it would probably be closer to $15-20. It looks like @ $5 worth of stuff. Any suggestions or homegrown fixes would be welcomed.

drill a hole in the plastic, drill a hole in the tank support tray, run a zip ty around frame and through plastic.

i just drill a hole in the fender and put the zip tie through the factory hole in the tank support, no drilling except for the fender...

What I did was take the rubber grommet out of the tank cover and put strips of duct tape around the inside of the hole to make it smaller and then put the grommet back in. Makes for a tighter fit on the fender pin. Works good, hasn't pulled out since. Plus, no drilling or zip-ties.

Do a search on that. I posted a picture of how I did mine.

Zip Tie is the way to go.

When we ride MX & hang off the side that would always catch our boot.

I've search several times and come up empty handed. I must not be using the right key words.

me to. I couldn't find it when I did a search. Drill the hole & use those small ties that are about 3-4" long. I'll search thru my pix.

did this to both sides

Notice the missing paint on my frame. My boot is working it. Only one hole drilled for the plastic. If I remember I used two short zips to wrap around. You don't wanta use the big zips because you'd have to drill a bigger hole.
