125 Honda Timing

Can anyone tell me how hard and how much it would cost to redo the timing? A guy I know has one that he says the timing is off and just needs to be retimed. I haven't looked at it yet but he says it's an easy job and would only cost about $25.00 in parts. If anyone know of where I could get step by step info on this that would be great. Hope someone can help on this. Thanks

4-stroke? 2-stroke? if its a 2stroke there isn't any timing to adjust.

Good question Drew I really don't know but I'll check when I go to look at it, just haven't had time yet. All I know right now is it's a 4-wheeler (I only need the motor). He did say it has a switch near the hand brake to put it into revirse with??

If it has reverse its probaly 4 stroke....if it has a single cam very easy to time. Go on google look up the atv info for timing it should come up.
