well we just got done burning some trees from the bad ice storm,...my eye is now hurting, white stuff comin out and to the corner of my eye, lights look like they got rainbows around them,...and blurry,......is this pink eye for sure? how long it last?

Try flushing your eye with some water. I used to have bonfires every weekend in the summer and my eyes got irritated like that more than once - usually when my friends would bring treated lumber they had left over.

just hope its not poison ivy that can cause big big big problems

haha ya, never suposed to burn treated lumber...its poison basically

he was burnin the other type or trees :bandit: lol it will go away in a few hours after your done eating everything in your house

A friend of mine was burning some bush's when we were in grade school. Turns out it was poison oak! H e inhaled the smoke and it damn near killed him! It swelled up his throat so bad he couldnt breath! Definitely a scary situation!

i had somthing like this once but we were burning weeds and leaves next to a tree :rolleyes: and then my eyes turned red and my face swollen up and it was real hard to breath.......so after two days in the hospital and one was in the icu we found out later that we were burning poison ivy on the ground and it was all over the tree too and they said i got a serious allergic reaction from the poison ivy smoke.....maby you got what i had but not as bad.;)
