I wouldn't know even with this info, but I think we would also know what motor and scale of Losi.
Most my experiance is NIMH batteries is in an old RC10, and its only something like 10 minutes. I run Lipos in my other truck.

Sorry, this is new to me. Its a 1/10 stadium truck. It has a Team Trinity brushless motor. Don't know anything else.
Can I use other batteries that last longer?

You will get a lot faster speeds and a longer run time out of a lipo, keep in mind they require a special charger and are extremely dangerous.

So, what LiPo battery charger do you suggest that has safe guards to not overcharge. These Nimh batteries are way to expensive to only last 15 minutes.

I have an Ice charger by duratrax, I do not believe they make it anymore, but the onyx 230 by duratrax is also a good charger for the money. It charges nihm, nicd, lipo, and lion
