Using +2 a-arms with stock shocks wouldn't make it any lower.
That would only lower the bike if u used LT a-arms with stock shocks, but that is just all kinds of wrong.
Bike would sit like 4" off the ground and the frame was SLAM the ground if u ever jumped it lol. Plus, everyone would laugh =)

the cheapest route you could go is gettin lowering kits for the front and rear. the rear lowering link works pretty good i ran those for 2 years with mild jumpin that you would fine on a tt. the front lowering kits that you buy work for lowering it but makes your shocks stiffer than hell cause it moves the bottom of your shock out.
i would suggest buyin a set of shocks for the front. or what alot of c-class guys do is make a lowering bracket that bring the bottom of your shock in and down to lower it and the shock dont feel to bad gives alot smoother and plush ride compared to the lowering kits you buy. but shocks would be a much better choice.
heres a website with lowering kits http://www.magicracing.com/Ice-Racing_c_68.html

i suggest you save up for now until you can buy the correct front end. get some lowering kits for now that are cheap off the Magic site or ebay.

I h ave ALWAYS been very big on "do it right the first time and don't do it again" that is why I went LT right away and saved up first, I saved up for the axle first also instead of getting spacers etc....

choose and spend wisely man. it's always a hassle to try to sell of parts that were in the middle of high end and intor level parts like std travel extended arms, your gonna be selling em later once you can afford LT, i hope you get the point in where in going with that idea.

save up and get this VV

The GT Thunder rear linkage drops the rear end a good bit.

I agree with the guys above, just save up for the right front end set up you really want. Lt is well worth the wait. But if you don't go Lt then the next best way is to just get shorter front shocks, this will give you the lowered height you want and will not sacrafice the quality of the ride such as a front lowering kit will. A while back I went with CRJ performance for my front and rear lowering kits. The kits drop it a lot and they are really cheap. Here is the website if your interested http://www.crjperformance.com/.
