i know that when people race their engines out for MX or TT they get a head job that compliments the top end power range, along wit the top end cam, and springs. i want bad ***** low end power and am gettin a 416 11:1 weisco and was wanting to know if headwork is worth it for low end power?????

mx riders dont get a head job for top end, they get porting for the low end and all around power, if you plan on racing mx, dont get a topend cam, get a high lift short duration, port, hevier valve springs, 11:1 piston, and your 416 bore

thanks man, i already have the wb all around cam, and R&D valve springs and retainers. i was wondering when i get the cylinder bored would i benefit enough from gettin the head ported while its off and waitin??? because we have a dude around these parts that did some headwork for my friends 440 wit hotcams stage 2 and R&D springs, but i know that he wanted top end power, so i didnt know if the head work would hurt my low end or low to mid. thanks man

definatly, if u have the extra money for the porting, get it done, its well worth it
