Was wanting to go for a gas saver, but you only live once right? Kickin around the idea of one of these, so lets hear your opinions. All have a pretty decent price when bought slightly used.

Leanin towards the GTO.

I would love that. But all the fast guys around here sold out too, or just dont race anymore so its pointless. Then I just dont have enough time to race Nationals anymore.

you asked for opinions, so here ya go,...

what you've got pictured is not a GTO.
THIS, is a GTO....

and if your not going to get one of those, and money is not an issue,....
Then the Vette wins, Hands down!

if money IS the issue,.... The 'Bird is still a very fun ride.

haha, very true I will agree with you there. Fact is all the newer 'pre owned' cars are cheaper than the REAL, old muscle cars.

All those pictured you can get for under 20k, with low miles and well taken care of.

If i were to buy a sports car it would be the GTO. With the vett your limited on a bunch of stuff One being the 2 seater deal. I know there aint much of a back seat in any of them but hey if your gonna pull in any tang than anyone can work with the space they got to get the job done. The WS6 aint a bad choice but i forget the last year they were made?? i would go witht he GTO for the fact of gettin a little new car.

I know what you mean about the vette bein limited. I believe the WS6 was stopped in 02?

I love the GTO. Only thing is it looks too much like a neon or somethin from the outside haha.

My cousin has a TransAm like the one pictured , and let me tell you , it hauls pretty good. Plus it's not a very common car that you see everyday .. atleast not around here anyways. Vettes to me are a dime a dozen type cars ..... go to car shows and every 4th person has a Vette.

Vette... although an 05+ (LS2) GTO would be tempting.

The GTO is just too heavy IMO. A bolt on, cammed, tuned vette would be a fun ride.

Yeah man! the WS6's and SS camaros fuggin move! There is ENDLESS mods for them too!

Dirka if I was in your shoes, for the best bang for your buck the Vette hands down. It will handle better then the cars you posted, smoke the dog chit out of them and the cool thing is you'll ALWAYS have a buyer for it! We've had corvettes for years and we've never had one complaint when it came time to trade it in or sell it outright, always pleased.. I almost had my hands on a 99, black with tan interior, tan drop top.. But I couldn't let my lil mini truck go lol

if you go gto id get the one with the 6.0 instead of the 5.7 ive driven both and it seemed the 5.7 was a little underpowered
