I do not live in Pennsylvania, but I do have the misfortune of living in New Jersey... Which forces me to ride in PA.

I have not heard of Tamaqua, but I did a ride in Hazleton at a park called Paragon.

There is a place called Tower City where there is a place called Raush Creek where you can go for the day, camp out, and ride again... And there also is a place a little further than that called Tower City Trail Riders, which is a great place to ride/camp, but you either need to join their membership, or ride there with someone that is a member there.

Good luck!:)

Im in Lake Wallenpaupack- Scranton area.

Definetly check out raucsh creek- much better for quads than TRAXX, bigger jumps, better track conditions and less crowds.

Tower City is fun- but hook up with some locals there are much better and much Free-er places to ride all around that area.

Gun32boarder...

I used to think the same way- B/c traxx was closer...but i learned that Rausch is worth any drive. I still truck it down from boston- stay with the parents in scranton and do 1 1/2 hrs both ways....

Once you start hitting the gaps and tables at Rausch...Traxx will be a distant memory.

Pargon Park was not that great went once and would not go back. The only thing that was fun was playing in the small sand pit. Most of it was coal dust , jeep crawl rocks and lots more rocks. Skid plate a must

every once and awhile I go riding in shamokin. I hear that you can take trails from there to go to frackville. my friend knows alot of the trails there and it really cool, except for the rocks. The pits there I are crazier than any of the the pits in south jersey(yes, even claytons). The hills in claytons are like whoops compared to some of the hills there. last time we were there our truck got stuck and we had to ride(modded 250r in top of 6th) down the road into town and get help. It sucked because it was cold, but it sure was fun going 70-75? down the road

we have lots of people in the area.... we need to hook up in spring.

JGRAY......................................
you can go riding all over in Douglassville (right near Pottstown) A buddy of mine and I run the railroad tracks. Tons of trails off of them. There are even a few home made motocross tracks. The Scukill river is right there too. not to mention you can run the tracks all the way to Reading if you want. I've only been as far as Birdsbourgh.

Splash,

My brother lives in Birdsboro. Although I don't think he's ridden there, he said that you can get to the trails offf the train tracks by going through the parking lot at the Douglassville Inn. Have you ever ridden there? Maybe we could get together sometime and ride.

yep the Douglassville Hotel parking lot is one of the few places to unload. I actually use to live right on 422 about a block up from there.... use to ride out of my garage right on to the trails. Only thing that sucked is I didn't have my EX back then, just had a ****ty old Yamaha 3 wheeler.

Sounds good, might have to try that some time. I read your signature, the dual headlights sounds cool, are they off a 400EX? Do you have a pic of the setup?
