The lobes on my White Brothers track cam are slightly groved and pitted. Does this mean the cam is trash?

You're right, I didn't.

The rockers were almost 3 years old when I put the new cam in. I should have gotten new ones as the white brothers instructions advised and I fear I ruined my new cam. I thing the old groves in the rockers cut into the new cam.

Question is, do I need a new cam now to go with the new rockers?

I think so.

Yep you need new cam and rockers. I have posted my damage rockers in the past, my cam looked the same. White brothers says they don't need hard faced rockers with there cams. So just to be safe changer your oil more often, once the oild breaks down and gets stuff in it it will take no time to eat the cam and rockers.

After market oil coolers work well to keep the head temp. down. As long as you get one like what Four Stroke Tech. sells. I've herd it eliminates the need for hardened rockers. But I think of hardened rockers as insurance.

I guess i'll get another cam along with new rockers.

I've been running Honda 20W-50 and changeing it every 30-40 hours or so.

Who sells the WB track cam for cheap? I like its profile and would like to stay with it.
