HONDA 450r ENGINE

I have an 06 450r (electric) motor, engine, whatever you want to call it. It has everything but isn't running. It's locked up. I'll take best offer. It looks like any other motor and ill take pics tomorrow. throw me some numbers guys and best offer takes it. everything is there. i can sell carb and electricals too for the right price along with the engine

i'm not sure whats all good or not with the engine and i'll know later in the week when it gets torn apart. i dont know if i want to rebuild it or not yet but the transmission and cases are good so you figure out the math on how much just in parts this is worth.

Throw me an offer. I'm also looking for an 06+ 450r motor to trade for.

this motor is being sold AS IS. i STILL havent even opened it up. unfortunately...it could be an easy fix...but i won an auction on ebay for a new motor already and there is no turning back now, this motor needs to go. i will ship it or i can meet up on the weekends or you can come here. please let me know your best offer. i need the money for the new motor!!!

guys like i said on another forum...ive been getting offers left and right through PMs, emails and calls about this, offers as high as $400-500 and as low as $50, lol. I need this gone to pay for my other motor but this wont be sold until i get it out of the frame which will be on Friday.

Whoever drops me the best offer between now and then will end up with this engine. So I cant tell anyone yes or anyone no, I'm waiting to see all the offers between now and Friday.

Hopefully that makes sense to everyone.

You can buy complete running motors for 800-1200 , people say they want it then dont buy it cause why spend 500 then have to build it and could end up costing a 1000 to just build it. Its cheap to buy running ones. Ill give you 250 and pick it up.

I agree! I offered $250 and he laughed at me! You can tell he has never built a motor before. I have one on my bench right now. The part are going to cost $1K, that does not include labor. On my 06, when it went it took out the cases. Luckily I had lots of stuff I could sell to offset the cost of the rebuild. If you add it busted up cases, you can make the total to $1600.

I feel sorry for the person that buys this mystery motor! This is a lose, lose deal for you dirt bike& quad, just so you know in advance. Never a good idea to sell mystery motor. I would sell my good running motor for $950! You can buy a crate motor for $2000.

o offered him a hundred buck and i would pick it up this weekend... lol i wanna build make my 300 fast lol a nice 450 motor and wirings harness would help out alot.. but i told him a would give him a hundred for a motor that is locked up and needs to be rebuilt he laughed at me lol i feel bad for the sucker that buys that thing for 500

the reason why i am not entertaining such low offers is because no matter how damaged this motor is, i know for a fact there are enough parts in it that are fine for me to sell it for over $250.

An asking price is an asking price, i dont see you going into other peoples threads bashing their price?
