hey anyone

me and my lil girl are entering our first atv CC race in march and weve got everything ready but one thing..... how and ware to mount the front and rear number plates ... so im looking to yall for some helpfull "uncostly" hints on mounting... maby some pics of your plates to help give me ideas... i got a Z400 and she's """well?"""" got a modified 110 knock off replica of a kfx450...i have the plates (7 1/2" X 10")

well they should be placed in visible places in the front and rear of the bike. most people go for the front bumper and rear grab bar.

i put mine on with some simple bracketing stuff i bought from the hardware store. i've also zip-tied them on. while in a bind.

just make sure they are tight cause they will run away if you not careful with how you install them.

thanks..... the rules havnt been posted yet for the series so im sketchy on theyre rules .i could easely remove my tail light temporarely to mount the rear if they dont require the light and the front were running stock brush gaurds wich make it a lil tricky to mount. the hardware store sounds like a great place to start

yes and it always is a great place to start. most people do mount them on the same brackets as the taillight. is the race AMA sanctioned??

no.... its stx-atv.... a new series in texas most races in texas are gncc and are held in east texas. alot of south and central texans are tired of making the long trip to east texas so they wanted to localize some races.
