Ok so i bought a civic so i can save gas since my truck gets 10 mpg. Would it be gay to throw on an intake and a different exhaust system so i can bump up my mpgs and just to get alittle better sounding car?

sounds stupid, but get the catback system and then head down to autozone or w/e and pickup one of the smallest flowmasters or heartthrobs they have (not diameter, small in actual muffler size you want diameter to be the same as your exhaust) and it won't scream like most hondas, you'll be able to hear it when you decide to get on it and it won't sound completely retarded like someone stepped on a duck.

Yea that sounds like an idea. I hate the ricers that drive around acting like there BA but i kinda wanted to open my honda up a bit and give it a nice sounding hum to it.

you don't have the sickness bad enough til you've fabricated mounts and a head pipe to mount up a DRD streetbike exhaust on a riding mower:devil:

It all depends on the exhaust and intake you get. Do not get an expensive intake its a waste and do not get a fart can.

get a stock F4i muffler cut it up and put it on you car. sounds perfict. not a fart can just sounds like a stock street bike almost a friend did it bc thats all he had and didnt feel like spending money. it sounds great and i hate imports and fart cans so much and im saying its nice

haha atleast im not trying to fight with everyone even though i ask for you opinion.. i like that f4i exhaust idea but i wonder what the input diameter is on those things.

best sounding bigger exhaust on a civic I would say is the 5Zigen fireball. Best exhaust sound would be a DC sports I cant think of the name its not a big exhaust, a little larger than stock and more free flowing. Even an intake will add noise.

its all gonna come down to the muffler you use, the dc sports sounds alright as long as you get the 4-3-1 header with it. i say sell civic and buy a volkswagen lol.

yea cuz beatles arent gay at all lol stick with the civic their great cars and have bullet proof motors especialy the b18 with tons of potential for mods.

whoa whoa whoa slow your roll there pal who said anything about driving a beetle(which you spelled wrong by the way) no need to jump down my throat here, i was talking about a jetta or passat which is easily as reliable as the b18 and you can get them with the 1.8t in them which is already turboed and more fun to drive.

which b18? you guys are all up on the bseries nuts but aren't being specific at all, there are like 6 or 7 different bseries block codes and each one comes with a different head setup, only some of which are worth the time. and you can't buy a civic with one of the good b18s unless its already been swapped in there.
