port job or bigger valves

i just bought this head from a guy and it has bigger intake valves but not exhaust and it has a clean up port job. its so smooth in there. i am running a ported head but stock valves. which would benefit me more. i am running a 426, st 3 cam, 39 fcr, and yoshimura r-3, lightened flywheel, and rev box. i mostly hill shoot and sand drag and dune. let me know...

I say the answer to that question is yes.......I think both benefit in different ways. Depending on the porting done that will make the power come on stronger at different RPM. Oversize valves will be a lower but consistant power gain. With what you like to do I would do both if you can afford to.
