The sad thing about all of this is that the boy has skill. He is faster than most of us or we would be out there with him and he dont even care if he looses it all. Why couldnt the big man above have gave that skill to one of us that would have put it to good use. Such a shame

not doubting your story, but lawrance didnt race last rd in san fran. He was sick and went to the hospital and got an IV which made him illegible to race. So if he fought, it was in the stands, not race related. either way i still cant stand him!

As for him being interested in quads, There is a dirtbike guy inside all quad riders and vice-versa. Sort of like a ying yang symbol, only awesome.

Thats how it works, Jason Lawrence keeps getting into fights, which is ******* behavior, and people treat him as such. Maybe he'll grow up after this one, who knows.

again, instead of an intelligent response, rolls the eyes and throws up a pic, use your brain for once, explain to me one time in an intelligent manner, with points that make sense, why should you get to bash on someone who was handed more then he was capable of being responsible for, i hate to say it but you don't get that fast without having a good work ethic, it just doesn't happen. the kid has skills, and would whoop your a** any day of the week on the track, so what if he can't handle it all, once the sports grows to the point of nascar, where the whole country seems to know whats going on even if they don't care, then you can pick and choose your pros, because there will be enough people with that kind of talent to only take the well mannered ones, but until then, the people that make it to the top in this sport are purely decided on by true talent, and hes got it.

Pull up a chair and read....I use PERIODS and COMMAS correctly.

You see, just because the kid has the talent to make it in racing, doesn't mean he has the mental toughness to do it. I can agree with you in saying the kid has the talent to ride a motorcycle. But, that's where it ends and ends ugly for Jblow. He lacks the commitment, mental toughness and self control to make it as a pro racer. Frankly, he's just plain and simply put....lazy. You add thousands of dollars to a punk kid with a big ego, and you have a disaster. Like kerosene to a fire, there's only one outcome. David Vuilleman was the same way, TONS of talent, just didn't put the time in for training and didn't "Want it".

Ron Leichen was another. Loads and loads of talent, just liked partying and drugs more than championships.

A person's success depends alot on who they surround them selves with also. I don't think Jblow keeps healthy company either.

He didn't make the main one week and the week after, he's getting into altercations and trying to race after getting an IV. So he's definitely under pressure to perform(hence the IV incident) and he's not responding well to the pressure of making it as a pro rider.....end of story, you'll see a motocross file on Speed channel on him in a few years....as long as he doesn't fall into the french fry fryers!

you just reiterated my point, hes got the talent. he can't handle the pressure, just like i said. some people just can't take the pressures of the top level, but that doesn't give every regular joe on this forum the right to come on here and bash him. sometimes the world needs to hold back its opinion because those people don't know what its like to be in that situation and have those things to deal with. the truth is telling someone like jlaw they don't deserve to ride a bike because they're good at screwing up is like telling a soldier he can't have a gun because hes good at getting shot at. i realize he should be setting an example out there and doing what he can to promote the sport as good, clean fun but its not his job.

What a man does on his own time is no ones business. He isn't a celeb, or role model, he is a dirt bike racer. He gets paid to win, and thats it in the end. If you dont like his actions fine by me, but I bet you have messed up many times before and not gotten punished for it have you not?

See that's where you and Juggs are DEAD WRONG!!! THIS IS A JOB FOR THEM!!! They are responsible for their own actions on and OFF the track! This is why sponsors pay them DAMN good money and they represent those companies ON and OFF the track! If they didn't want to be in the limelight, then don't race pro. Become a mechanic or something else along those lines....

Not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to be in a position like Jason, and a racer's career isn't very long, so I would have been thankfull to be able to race to make a living, retire at age 35ish, and start up a race team or something along those lines, and race a few outdoor series. Something along the line that McGrath did.

And YES they are role models and "celebs" to every little kid on a bike out there and have to live up to their own actions....

This thread is pretty entertaining. I got to the part about jersey.

Fake tan and Popped collars? You are thinking of Strong Island, NY.

ay. theres actually noone here with fake tans and popped collars lmao. its all ghetto *** white trash and people who dont do anything with their lives(not racist just stating the truth)

in my school.. i think maybe my class will get cut in half by the time we get to 12th grade. thats how dumb and un motivated they are. 1st of all we get a new hispanic kid every day.. no lie LITERALLY. and they dont do anything but gel their hair and buy echo clothing. skip class and get in trouble for doing nothing except for acting tough.

everyone here is also a dick. in the hallway, you will be walking and someone PURPOSELY walks into you. and they flip out and say YO WHATCHO PRBOLEM MAYN WHY YOU BUMPIN INTO ME. DES DAYUM PEOPLE SO RUDE.

god i cant wait to move out of this damn island. :grr:

Long Island isint as bad it may seem. Its sort of how the guys from Jersey are with the "boys" from the shore. Im in Suffolk county, sure theres the occasional d-bag, but for the most part is not to bad.
