What is the difference between a Carbon Fiber and an Aluminum exhaust?? (full system)

carbon fiber is lighter but I heard they will become brittle and rattle apart eventually. Think of it as aluminum if it gets bent or cracked its fixable. Carbon fiber just toss it out.

Carbon fiber can be fixed with some epoxy and carbon sheets. Not too hard to do. as far as how it holds up on exhausts, im not sure but it is some strong and light weight stuff.

i know a kid who had a carbod fiber exhaust on an ltr450 and the clamps that wrapped around it to mount it wore a hole threw the exhaust. i think he threw it away after that

Aluminum is probably the way i have to go.. unless i get $600 to spend on that carbon fiber..
