missing vin plate on older frame

Its a 250x frame, if you have one. Where is your vin plate located? I checked all over and cant find a thing!!!!

I am in the process of getting a new vin, but need the fuzz to verify so I can send to DMCR thingy.

it should be on front of the quad right by the upper bumper mount.

Yup, just looked again, nothing... How are they attached? Is it a sticker or metal plate? Wondering if I painted over it.

I dont have 250X but I did have a stock TRX250R chassis. The vin was stamped in between the shock towers. Its probably stamped somewhere on the frame and could be hidden from paint layers or powder coating. hope this helps. thanx.

early x's had them stamped on the round tube wear the upper front bumper bolts up
