Do you have to drill holes in your foot pegs and frame to bolt up nerf bars? Mine do not seem to line up.

Any help?

they are cheap ac racing nerfs

Try sliding the 2 forward tubes together then bolt everything up at the pegs. It sometimes works when putting nerfs on to do everything backwards if that makes any sence.

yeah i thought of doing it like that, but i couldnt really tell if they were supposed to go over the frame or under the frame.:ermm:

idk what bike your putting them on, but on my 300ex i spent several hours lining all of the holes up an getting the bolts in. they came with horrible instructions on how to put the nets on too. the outer smaller bolt on the foot peg that comes with the nerfs also break very often.

My UM nerfs definately required drilling into the foot pegs but not the frame.

i thougt all the nerf bars at the front went over the frame thats what mine did

I dont know something is goofy with them, there just cheap i guess???

i just baught the motosports nerfs and it didnt take me long ot put them on and i rode with them today abd the only problem is my foot keep getting stuck under the nets. so do alot of u guys keep ur nets real toose or tight

yeah i keep mine loose also. The net is there in case your foot comes off the peg. Llike a safty net. Possiblay zip tie the net to the frame. I would think that might help a lil.

all nerfs are different
some require drilling and some dont

call up the company and ask if your not sure
