i have a 07 dvx400 that i am about to put new front tires on. it has a set of regular razrs on back. i am not sure if i want to try the razr 2 or x rex for front. i dont really want the full yellow letters but if they perform better that is what i want. has anyone tried both. i am guessing that the razr 2 will last longer. i am not sure about the x rex sizes either. the specs are as listed... tire, weight, tread depth.

x rex 21x7-10 11.3lbs 15/32nds
x rex 22x8-10 13.7lbs 15/32nds
razr2 22x7-10 12.6lbs 19/32nds

They should be pretty much the same and about equal in how long they last. The GBCs dont have the yellow lettering like the RazrII. I had the 21-7-10 X-Rex fronts and my brother had the same size RazrII fronts. Side by side you would mistake them for being the same tire if you didn't look close. The X-Rex was the same height and everything. These were a great tire for me and I will be buying them again.

What size do you have in the rear? If the are 20's in the rear you should probably go with the 21's in the front.

I agree I have used both tires and they both perform great. As for the weight and tread depth I believe they are a lot closer than the listed specs. I just weighed a 21x7x10 X-Rex and it is 11.5 pounds. Its tough to beat the performance and price of the X-Rex

The tread depth is a typo. They have the same tread depth as the Razr2's. As others have said, for the price they can't be beat. I have had R2's and now X-rex's and I can not tell a difference in performance between the two. They both work great.
