i'm sure you all know tht it seems tht every time you take ur atv out the rear wheel nut is loose again,or atleast on mine anyways...lol, my question is could i replace the castle nut with a nylock nut so it wont keep working itself loose?
thanks
do you have cotter pins in the castle nut? that is what keeps it from turning...

ya, but they still back off a wee bit and it allows them to wobble a bit...

I have the same problem! Did on my old 300ex too.
Loctite usually does the trick though every once in a while it'll work its way loose but not very often. Just do that and check em before/after every ride to make sure they stayed good.

Use the blue loctite, red means you wont ever get it off!

if you have the 2' power bar you wont have any problem getting it off with the red. id rather have a hard tie getting it off anyway than have it come loose while riding and hurt yourself.
