is there any botom end kits out there i needa rebuild my 86 whats the best way to go?

From what I've been told OEM is the best way to go. I'm in the process of a re-build, and I'm going with an OEM Honda crank.

yea i might if i end up needing a crank im hoping i can just get away with bearings how do i know if i need the actual crank?

Are hot rods kits decent?

good luck finding a 86 oem crank.. they are no longer available from honda

yea thats what i heard.. im gona go with the hotrods complete crank well actually im gona check my main bearings forst maybe thats all i need

check the tolerances of the rods big end to make sure that its within the service limits. if not, then you can always have it rebuilt using a pro x. the hot rods are a crap shoot

how would u rebuild it using a pro x kit what is it like an oem crank rebuild?

yessir! the OEM crank is rebuilt using the pro x rod and should be done by a builder that "KNOWS" what he's doing.
