every thing were using is from our 250r mod we ran last year.the motor,frame,exuast,gas tank is 250x. it can be done if you got some fab skills. ill post some detailed pic what has to be done to get them towork. latter on.

hey just figured i would let you know this before u got toooo far into your build...you can't run a 250r swing arm because you need to add the linkage mount...so if you planning on racing any nationals the frame will be illegal. no frame modifications aloud..

there is no modifications to the frame it bolts on. i mean the bracket to the frame that holds the whish bone.

how did you do a bolt on linkage mount? wouldn't it be too weak for jumping?

Hey love the fox shox. Are you going to be racing at Atco in the 200/300 class? Becasue thats what class and track I run. About the part where you said later on you might make it a 390 stroker I do not think you can exceed 300cc for a four stroke in this class?

were almost done. we have to set the front end up and play around with the carb.its a newer keihin fcr carb off the crf250. ill post some new pic this weekend. its looking good!!!

we spent all weekend on this new carb. what a pain. put the 400ex carb on for now.so we can make the first race of the year.its only 2 weeks away. so i didnt have time for pic. will post some this weekend for sure. so far the bolt on linkage is working.will see when he gets some series air time. all in all it looks sweet.

yes, only FCR AFTERMARKET style carbs fit the 300 unless u cut or raise the gas tank. been there before. we ended up buying what sparks/TC recomends which is a 35+ FCR

this thing sounds like its going to be sickk.

no we have it to fit. we cant get the dead spot out of it. when we have more time will get it back on. theres 4 jets to play with.

would you be willing to make another bolt on linkage system? a previous owner of mine welded the mounts on there and ran a 250r swingarm. i REALLY need a new frame, i just don't want to have to weld that on the new frame.

are those 250r nerfs with 450r heel guards on the 300ex frame

set the stage we dont even know if its even going to hold up. it will take a least half the season of racing on it to know if it will hold up. yes they are 250r nerfs 86/87 years with 450r heel guards.not to much work to get them on there.all you need is an welder with som fab skills.

kdigginz dont know if bling star will fit. we measured them up and the shifter side from the front of pegs to the rear of the shifter is 7 1/4 inch and the break side is 6 1/2
