vacation planning help please?

Does anyone know of any places on the east coast that we can ride on the beach and camp? i figured florida down by daytona but ive heard otherwise. trying to plan, an after a race weekend, type beach camping trip and wondering if anybody knew of a place we can go and have a good time with the kids.

You may want to contact Cape Lookout National Seashore at 252-728-2250. They allow off-highway vehicles/atvs to ride on the beach and on a road behind the frontal dunes but you must have your vehicle ferried to Cape Lookout
Must be 8 years old to ride an ATV in NC and must wear helmet and goggles at all times. And also go through an training course...
