ok i have a full set of 25 inch pure sports realtors, slight use, no plugs or anything. im letting them go cheap on craigslist. i listed as 80 OBO and then i put may trade for 450r or 400ex parts. well i got an offer, this guy said he would give me 80, but he has an HMF slip on he would trade instead..he sent me pics..im a little sceptical [sp?] it looks to be in good shape, just dirty, and that endcap needs to go. lol but i would replace it with a vector anyway..here are some pics. is it worth it? or should i just take cash and get something else?.

Seeing a used hmf in that shape wouldn't yield much more than 80 bucks I would say it's a pretty even trade. Also depends what you planned to use the cash for. Parts or other?

well i hadn't thought over what i was going to buy, but i did plan on buying a new HMF for christmas next year. although i wanted red, im not complaining! lol but whatever i spend the money on, it would most likely be parts for the 400ex as thats my main focus now.

i dont think so, somethings fishy.
it doesnt even had the orginal bolts that go to the endcap, he put some flathead screws in there :ermm:

I'd be willing to bet that the packing is either gone or within 1" of the end of the muffler.

i'd trade look at it this way. little elbow grease. also you aren't using the tires and you could use this. just repack it and polish it and save yourself 125 bucks getting a slip on.
