Stupid Mistake !!!

Just put a ct exhaust on and took it for a ride ( with jeans on ). The dye in my jeans melted on my header pipe so my question is what can I use to get it off. I tried steal wo, gasoline, WD-40 but its baked on and I can't get it off. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...

keep riding and it will burn off. i was riding and hit a plastic walmart bag that melted all over everything. 4 weeks later it eventually started to go away. and that is after riding 1hr a day.

If you need it off, i'd go to a automotive store... i.e (O'riellys/Autozone/Etc.) and look for aluminum alloy wheel 'Acid' cleaner... If your pipe is aluminum. But it works fast spray on, let sit for 15 seconds, then spray off and dry. or yeah just ride the stupid out of it and burn it off... or what kind of dye is it?

The acid didn't work so I guess i'm gonna have to let it wear off.

try oven cleaner. works good on a chrome pipe.

I will have 2 keep that in mind if it happens again cuz I actually got it off with the edge of a razor blade without scratching it then i shinned it with mothers came out good.
