i know a lot of us have wanted nerfbars with heel gaurds, and Burgard racing now makes them for all years 250R! just thought i'd put the word out. btw, you have to call them up to order them, they are not on the website yet.

I know they are not the same, but has anybody tried mounting the OEM 300ex, or 400ex heelguards to the 250R?

It would give it a nice OEM 89 look.

BTW I've seen pics of the heelguard/ nerfs from burgard for a LTR 450 and I'm not sure I like the look.

im pretty sure the 400ex ones can be mounted on a 250r, but you need to weld a tab or a nut on your frame. i hate the heel guards on that ltr. i mean if your feed cam off the pegs and you caught your heel on that heel guard cross bar when coming down. ouch. that would suck. i hope the 250rs look better than that!
