Selling my Craptor, need a powerful quad, the 440 does not cut it for me. ( been there done that) I love the power of my modified Yamaha, (660, piston kit, head work, webb cam) but looking for better handling. Would a XR 600 R engine fit in a 400 ex frame, I have seen 450s in 400 frames, I can get a Xr 600 r engine and wiring for $200 or less, it needs a rebuild, but it runs. Would it make a good woods quad. I want POWER , not a 450 to race. I like TONS of low end and some mid. Like to climb big hills and have power to spare. Also do not have $20,000 to spend on a quad. I can get a clean 99 , 400ex for $2700 runs great, holeshots, skids, and lonestar axle. Thinking of buying it and building something????????? Wake up Honda we want a 450-650cc, 50 hp or more quad.......... for $6000-$7000 I'll buy it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The one in dirt wheels, has a custum frame, and custom everything, I'm looking for something nice and cheap. My friend Steve has a NX Honda 650 in a 250r frame, it looks sweeeeeeeeeeeeet looks stock, no junk, but the gears in the NX engine is geared way to high for the woods. But I know he could put the 600 r in the 400 ex frame. I just want to know would it be the right thing to do??????????
