The KFX is gonna got some suspension upgrades but I need some advice. First of all, I ride strictly woods, trails only and going any wider than 46" is not an option. I ride pretty aggressive for the most part but there are days when I am with some friends and we just take it easy too. I'm leaning towards having all three stock shocks sent to either Noleen,Race Tech, or GT because I can have them revalved/resprung for $750-$900 total. And I have heard nothing but good things from all of those companies. Leaning Noleen or Race Tech right now.

But my buddies that run moto are trying to push me towards Fox,Axis,Ohlins.....etc. etc. But I don't know if I can justify 2 G's on aftermarkets when I think the rebuilds will be ok. Don't get me wrong, I know those shocks are way superior to anything that could be done to the stockers but would it be so much better for my application that it would be worth the extra $1200-1300 more. What do you guys think?

i would say just use the stock ones, if your not racing i dont think theres any need to buy aftermarket suspension, just a waste of money. just my opinion though

How much do you want and what weight are they set up for? And XC or MX?

They were setup XC for a 195 lbs rider a fiend of mine who had a kid so his plans of racing changed. I helped him dial them in and I was very impressed at how well they worked. They have about 2 hours on them make an offer. PM me you email and I'll take a photo and send it to you.

Got me some Elka Elites for a great deal, couldn't refuse. Now as soon as it's not 4 below and snowing, I'm gonna bolt them up and dail them in. Can't wait till the summer!

Your right. I don't race or anything and I stick to recreational riding. But I really just am the kinda guy that can't leave anything alone. I got it to ride pretty good last year after setting up the stockers but I wanted to put some money into it this year. And the deal on those Elka Elites was to good to pass up.

Next winter I am probably gonna get a FCI intake, Dasa pipe and PCIII. Is it quick enough all ready? Yeah, for what I do but I just can't leave things alone!

Plus, the Elkas add over an inch of travel without sacrificing ride height and have a bunch more adjustability for an even more dailed in ride.
