would i have to do any prepping? like sand it down or anything? how about the stock 400ex heat shield?

Nope, I do all the prep work

sounds like a great deal!
i might get my bumper done soon, if i can get some of these parts sold. i would LOVE to get my frame done...but i dont have the cash..maybe this summer when i have a job.
