front brakes

went to change my front pads. when i took the pin caps out it looked liked the bolts in there where hex or Allen bolts couldn't really get them out don't want to strip...what are they and whats the best way to get them out?

If its hex, you need a allen wrench. If its a star, you need a torx bit/wrench.

anybody else??? what kinda bolt is it....best way to get it out....dont want to strip in my caliper

They take an allen wrench to get them out. I dont remember what size, but you will want to make sure you use the correct size wrench because to small of one will round out the head. Its best to get one that will fit a 3/8 drive rachet.
