chain slap...any remedy???

My crf hybrid has a +6 swingarm and due to the added chain length it slaps constantly and drives me nuts. I have it adjusted properly. Like 1" play up and down. Is there any remedy other than a shorted chain/swinger?

Not sure how to remedy the chain slap but here's a tip easily over looked. When measuring chain length make sure to compress your rear end to where your sprocket, pivot bolt and center of your axle are all in line. This is the longest point of chain travel, adjust it there to an inch. Hope this helps.
