the crf looks like it has almost the same intake lift as the hrc with less duration, more lile the stocks duration, but the crf has lots more exhaust lift than both the others, cant really tell the duration compared to the others since they dont look to have much lift so its hard to tell where it starts from the base circle. does that put the crf's power farther up?

Well, just like d3ktrix said in his first post you really can't tell whats happening by looking

Its fun to discuss though...

well, I know you dont have any specs or anything, but I figured someone could still answer my question, that as a general rule, does more exhaust lift/duration usually put the power farther up top? or only if the timing gives it alot of overlap does it push the power up top?

higher lift ,shorter duration = torque

lol. I don't think you would want to stick such a small cam in ur build anyway.
Would murder your top end.

the 02 crf cam works good for me with the je 11.5 piston...woke her right up !i pulls great low and dont feel like i lost any top end.i run a rekluse and its almost impossible to stall and has plenty of nuts everywhere:D

isnt a rekluse designed so you dont stall it, I thought you could use it as a regular clutch while shifting but when slowing down to take a turn or something it works sort of like a centrifugal clutch or something?
