300ex is better for mods in the long run. people say a 250x motor is better than a 300ex for mx, but the 300 is defidentally better than a blaster...

get a blaster there light and its 2 stroke so it sounds sweet and its easy to fix.

blasters are easy to fix but ticking time bombs, great bikes but dont trust them to not blow up. 300s cost more but are more reliable

300ex. the suspention setup is sooo much better on a 300. I really think yamaha spent more time making the blasters easy to fix than they did making it reliable..

300 all the way tho..

To be honest I had a 96 or 97 Blaster, never had a single problem with it. Id still go with the 300
