in us production no, but therer is a qkid in my neighborhood that used to ride that had a 400ex and it was indeed a kickstart, thats what made me want one when i was younger bercuase his was nice, except the cobra exhaust.. lol but it was diffiently a non watercooled engine in a 400ex so unless theres a similar looking 400 that swaps in easy for someone who doesnt really kjnbow what there doing

xr400 is kick start and shouldn't be hard to put in...

idk it looks kinda complicated.theres a thread on here that tells you how to do it.ill search for it and see if i can find it.

it's not complicated if you put the whole xr motor in
