Ok, I purchased all of this stuff approx. 3 yrs ago and it's all still in EXCELLENT condition. I have receipts for everything but the amplifier. I have installed stereos for over 8 yrs and did install this whole system myself in a 1995 Chevy reg. cab truck that had bucket seats, and the speaker sat between the seats with the speaker facing upward along with the slot-port (air flow exit) and this system would out hit 2-12" Infinity Kappa Perfects, 3-10" MTX 4000s off of only a 250 watt amp. This 8" subwoofer is very impressive and would make a sweet system for anyone with a 4-door explorer or car with a lot of air space. I took pride in every system I have ever owned and this is by far the loudest, heart pounding, nose itching system I have had. Yes, it hits so FKN hard it makes your nose itch if your within 10-12 feet of it. I have approx. $850-900 in a $1200 system. I am up for offers. System will have to be picked up or could be delivered within a reasonable amount of miles. No need for pics, everythings like new other than the power wire is dusty from being ran through the firewall and under the trucks hood. Come on now, SOMEONE needs this baddass system!!!! Call my cell if VERY interested (812) 277-6039...ask for Thomas. $550 for everything or Trade for complete set of YFZ450 GT Thunder suspenion (front, rear and XC linkage for 05 or 06 rear, preferably 06)

JL Audio 8w7 (8" sub) in a slot-ported box-$476.25 new (sub was $399.99 & box was $50.00) have receipts

JL Audio 250/1 Mono block amplifier-$399.99 new (I gave $175) no receipt

Streetwires 1 farad capacitor-$110.00 new (have receipts)

Streetwires 4 gauge complete wiring kit-$65.00 new (have receipts)

Rockford Fostgate Gold plated battery mount-$15.00 new (have receipts)

How many DB does it hit, preferably measured at the headrest or kick to me accurate?

I believe it hits somewhere around 130 to 140 ranging from 250-500 watts of power...it's a very impressive speaker...do some research...you won't find any negative feedback on the 8w7...
