Moose High Performance Piston Kits for Dirt Bikes and ATV's
Developed by CP Piston Company. Each Kit incorporated the Latest in cutting edge technology that everyone from the top professional riders to weekend warriors demand. Full radius dome designs maximize quench while eliminating hot spots that promote detonation.
Each Moose Piston Kit includes a high performance piston, wrist pin, rings, circlips, and a topend gasket kit.

Features:
Specialized 5 axis tooling- This is used to insure proper machining specifications are met which is the tighest in the industry. CP uses an A 3 inspection process which inspects 40 points during this process to insure quality standards are met.
CP uses a proprietary treated wrist pin. This process engraves the product surface which in turn allows the surface to retain oil film adding additional lubrication to the surface. This process also provides additional protection against the piston becoming brittle and prevents surface cracking.
Anti Detonation Grooves - These grooves protect the top ring by disrupting detonation waves. These are also known as contact reduction grooves. This process limits piston/cylinder contact during high temperature and RPM.
Accumulator Groove - This V shaped groove machined in the second ring land to collect excess blow-by between the top and second ring. This groove also collects residual gases during combustion and alleviates top ring flutter providing a better ring seal.
Double Pin Oilers - Located in the pin area of the piston, provides twice the amount of oil from the cylinder wall to the wrist pin for better lubrication.
