swingarm ?????

Is the 86 swingarm different from other years? If so how can you tell the differences?

the 86- 87 are about an inch longer than the 88-89 and the 86-87 mount different they have a motor mount in the middle

The reason why I ask is I bought an 86 swingarm off a trx 250r at least thats what they said. I checked it out and it looked exactly the same. I removed my bearing carrier from the old one and put it in the new one and the bearing carrier was to small. The only thing I can think is maybe the newer one was off of an atc.:confused: are they different than the trx 250r?

you may very well have one from an '85 atc

After some research and picking a few brains it turns out the swingarm that is on my R now is off an atc. So got to get myself a bearing carrier for a trx
