i need some pros and cons! should or shouldnt i buy a rev box for my quad? do they even do anything? some people say no, some say yes. my bike is jetted and piped other than that stock.

rev box? or no rev box?

A rev box isnt needed unless your bike is bouncing off the stock rev limiter when riding. Usually thier used on built motors that require a higher rev. You wont see much gain with a pipe and jets.

it depends on which year, 04/05 bikes will benifit from one. the stock limit is very low and the ignition will have a different ignition curve which will give it more power. the 06 is good and all you have to do to get a different rev limit is cut the green wire on the ignition. but i would only do this if you put a cam in as you will lose power way before the stock limit on the newer bikes.

i prefer the adjustable dyna ign. because you can set it where you want your power to be. the non adjustible is good also if that is all you can afford.
